Police captain returns to work after being cleared of charges

YEMASSEE, SC (WTOC) -

On Monday, the Attorney General's Office dismissed the last charge against Cpt. Gregory Alexander of the Yemassee Police Department for breach of trust of less than $1,000.

Last week, a Hampton County jury found him not guilty of misconduct in office and breach of trust of $10,000 related to a seizure.

He was charged this past summer and was suspended pending the outcome of the case.
