Increased air traffic, noise expected through Dec. 15

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Residents are warned not to be alarmed if they see or hear more air traffic and noise than usual Dec. 4-15 in several coastal areas.

A military exercise is under way until Dec. 15 on military training areas at Hunter Army Airfield, Fort Stewart, Parris Island and in the vicinity of the surrounding communities.

A man who repairs water towers collapsed more than 100 feet in the air above Cobbtown. Fire and rescue crews had to climb to the top of the tower and lower him to safety.
