City to begin tree project along Abercorn St.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah is getting a little greener.

The city will begin planting the first of more than 100 crape myrtle trees within the Abercorn Street median Tuesday.

The trees will go all the way from DeRenne Avenue to Tibet Avenue.
