Wreck snarls traffic on I-16 EB during morning commute

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A wreck on I-16 eastbound before the Dean Forest Road exit had traffic backed-up for miles during Tuesday's morning commute.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. A truck and a van collided with one another. Officials have not confirmed details but according to witnesses, the collision was caused when one vehicle rear-ended the other. No injuries were reported.

The wreck had traffic backed-up for over an hour. The road is now clear.
