Tybee hurricane drill set for Thursday

TYBEE ISLAND, GA (WTOC) -

Tybee Island will be holding an exercise to evaluate current hurricane safety plans and procedures.

The exercise is scheduled for Dec. 6 and will take about half a day to complete. The exercise will take place at city hall and the Tybee Island Gym at 8:30 a.m.

The island will develop post hurricane priorities from damage assessment to community needs response.
