Glynn Co. police make arrests in Brunswick shooting

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -
Officers with the Glynn County Police Department responded to shooting in Townsend Park Tuesday evening.
Upon arrival, officers found Tyler Scott Harris, 23, suffering from two gunshot wounds.
Harris was transported to the Southeast Georgia Health System and was later transferred to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah where he is currently listed in critical condition.
Witnesses reported to police that the victim had gone to the Townsend Street Park on Townsend St. in Brunswick around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to sell a firearm to a male. Once at the park, the male suspect attempted to take the weapon from the victim and then shot the victim and fled the scene. The victim was not shot with the gun he was trying to sell, according to the Glynn County Police Department.
After an investigation, police arrested Ladarrius Lawrence, 18, of Brunswick, his brother Lorenzo Lawrence, 20, of Brunswick, along with a 16-year-old Brunswick juvenile.
All three suspects have been charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, armed robbery and aggravated assault.
