On Wednesday afternoon, Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team agents working in a undercover capacity received information of a possible meth lab at a Bloomingdale residence.
Agents found the residence on Pine Barron Rd. and identified the three people present. Agents searched the residence and found an active meth lab. They also found evidence that at least one person was injured during a previous meth cook where an explosion occurred.
Joshua McNelly, 19, of Savannah was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. He is currently being held at the Chatham County Detention Center.
The meth lab was deemed safe by an environmental company specially trained in clandestine lab cleanup and CNT agents.
