Bethesda Academy Flag Retiring and Flag Raising Ceremony. Members of the Veterans Council and Boy Scouts from Bethesda Academy will retire a tattered American flag in front of Burroughs Hall and present the school with a new flag. Event not open to the public.

Gannam Day
Benedictine Military School will pay tribute to those who served and died on Pearl Harbor Day. Special ceremony prior to Gannam Day Review.
9:20 a.m. at the school's 6502 Seawright Dr. campus
Last year, BC unveiled a new WWII Memorial to honor 30 alumni who died during the war, including SSG George K. Gannam, the first Savannahian killed at Pearl Harbor.

Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony
There will be a ceremony Friday from 10 a.m. until noon at the American Legion Post 168 on Highway 84 in Hinesville.
