SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Bass Pro Shops will be holding a very special nationwide event Sunday for policemen, firemen, paramedics, war veterans, soldiers and military personnel.
They will be opening their doors from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Dec. 9 for an evening of activities, shopping, discounts and drawings. All local heroes and their immediate families are invited to attend the event. Badges or other identification must be shown.
Families will be able to visit the magical Christmas Village that is Santa's Wonderland and enjoy items like slot car racing, laser and soft gun arcades, remote control cars and trains. Families can also take a free picture with Santa until 9 p.m.
Children will be able to make stuffed owl ornaments during the special craft activity being offered until 9 p.m. Free gift wrapping and a 10 percent discount on regularly priced items will also be offered. Bass Pro Shop gift card drawings will begin at 7:30 p.m and the first 100 heroes that arrive at the Santa's Wonderland exhibit at 7 p.m. will receive a special ornament.
