Henry County police are searching for two people in connection with a home invasion that turned deadly.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Sowell Road. Police said a man and woman entered the home and proceeded to rob the family living there.
Police said the homeowners fought back. One of them was shot and later died at the hospital. Police have identified her as 42-year-old Stacy West of McDonough. Her husband was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.
Police said they think the victims knew their attackers. The gunmen were able to get away.
