TYBEE ISLAND, GA (WTOC) -

Two great white sharks are believed to be right off Tybee Island's coast, according to OCEARCH Global Shark Tracker.

The website says both sharks are female. One is 16-feet long and about 3,500 pounds and the other nearly 15-feet long ands weighs just under 2,300 pounds.

But the two sharks don't seem to be scaring beachgoers away.

"I think it's awesome! It is what it is. They're all of our god's creatures and I think it's great. I think it's great for Savannah any way. We love sharks, don't we? Yes," said a beachgoer.

Scientists say the two sharks may be following North Atlantic right whales, which travel to the Georgia coast to give birth.
