Brianna McIntosh
STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -
Brianna McIntosh and her family spent Saturday looking for a bone marrow donor to help her fight leukemia. On Monday, doctors said she'd already scored at least one important victory.
Her mother, Christy, emailed a picture to WTOC that showed 4-year-old Brianna holding a sign that said "Today, I am cancer free!" Doctors told the family Monday the little girl's leukemia is in remission.
However, her family cautioned, the search will continue for a bone marrow donor and possible transplant in case the leukemia returns.
