HARDEEVILLE, SC (WTOC) -
On Tuesday, A.M. Fog Farms, a gourmet mushroom producer, announced its plans to relocate its headquarters and construct a state-of-the-art production facility near Hardeeville.
The $1 million investment is expected to create seven new jobs.
The company will produce gourmet mushrooms, including oyster, shitake and maitake, in a controlled indoor growing environment.
The company expects to produce 1,500 pounds of mushrooms each week.
