Single lane closure set to begin on Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

A two-day lane closure is scheduled to begin Wednesday on Hilton Head.

On Dec. 12-13, one lane of Spanish Wells Road on Hilton Head Island will be closed for a half mile as crews repair a guardrail.

Work crews will be on site directing motorists around the work zone at Highway 278 and Spanish Wells Road. The repair work and temporary lane closure will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days.

Drivers should expect work crews, barricades, cones, signs and flashing arrows in the work zone area. The public is asked to use caution.
