Burton man sought on credit card theft charges

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted on several counts of credit card theft and fraud.

Robert Alfred Mallonee, 32, who is wanted on two counts of Financial transaction card theft and three counts of financial transaction card fraud.

Mallonee was identified in surveillance footage as the suspect who used cards stolen from a Chesterfield Lake Drive to make fraudulent withdrawals and purchases.

The cards were reported as stolen from a home on Chesterfield Lake Drive between Nov. 24 and Nov. 26. The cards were used on Nov. 26 to make more than $500 in unauthorized charges.

Mallonee is a white male, who is about 5'11" tall and weighs 190 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a red scar on his left cheek and a small tattoo "Rob" on his right bicep.

His last known address is 32 Chesterfield Lake Dr. Anyone with information regarding Mallonee's whereabouts is asked to contact either Investigator Sgt. J. Kelleher at 843-255-3418 or Crimestoppers at 1.888.CRIME-SC (274-6372) or text the word TIPSC with a message to CRIMES (274637).
