The Southeast Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross is launching a new fund-raiser.
The first Youth Heroes Breakfast will be held April 26, 2013, at Savannah State University.
Nominate someone to become a youth hero! The Red Cross will identify and recognize 15 youth heroes who give back to their community through volunteering.
Through volunteer initiatives, young people adopt mentors who lead by example, serve as a source of guidance and inspire young adults to achieve their goals with confidence.
Support a Red Cross Youth HERO Volunteer:
- From your church
- From your school
- From your sports team
- From your neighborhood
- Between the ages of 11 & 14
- Who has demonstrated an impressive and inspiring amount of community service
