The Georgia Southern University football team hopes to come home from Friday's playoff game at North Dakota State with a spot in the national championship game.
University leaders hope to return with a commitment from a North Dakota high school senior.
GSU's 20,000 students come from 90 countries and 49 states - every state except North Dakota.
School officials are taking advantage of the trip to recruit potential students and promote the balmy conditions in Statesboro where the high temperature the other day was 68 degrees and students were taking finals in shorts, which is a whole lot different than Fargo, N.D.
