Mobile homeless shelter vandalized during attempted armed robbery

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

Family Promise of Beaufort says vandals broke the door of their trailer during an attempted armed robbery. The families were sleeping at a church on Hilton Head Island when the incident occurred.

Family Promise is a moving homeless shelter for families with children. They move families' belongings to and from congregations on Sundays.
