"World Changers" Work to Help Local Homeowners

Are you spending some time this summer working around the house? How about working around someone else's house? That's what some people are doing. They're called the World Changers, and they're repairing roofs and repainting dozens of houses throughout the Coastal Empire.

It's their way of helping those in need. World Changers come from all over the United States and they've been working in Savannah for the last 12 years.

They say it's hard work but well worth it. "It's taxing," World Changer Mike Anderson told us. "We have to get up at five o'clock in the morning, every morning, but it's well worth it and the homeowner appreciates it, so I'm glad to do it."

By the time this project is finished, they will have helped make repairs to about 80 different homes.
