RBC Heritage gives $50,000 to non-profit groups

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

Thanks to the success of this year's RBC Heritage, five non-profits are getting a nice Christmas present.

Members of the Heritage Classic Foundation Board in conjunction with Boeing handed out $50,000 to the non-profits Thursday morning. Each group receives $10,000.

Since 1987, the foundation has handed out $23 million to charities.
