SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The Savannah College of Art and Design celebrated the holiday season by hosting their "Holiday Happenings" event.
The event took place Saturday at the SCAD Museum of Art from 10pm-5pm.
The free event included all sorts of festivities including carolers, refreshments, elves, and of course a visit with Santa Claus.
The event was also a chance for SCAD to invite the public to explore the expanded museum.
"The new part of the museum has been open just over a year, so we're delighted to continue to show some of the world's most accomplished artist here at the SCAD museum and really to just be a part of the community," said Kimberly Shreve, SCAD's Outreach Coordinator.
Also, two christmas movies were screened for free in the Trustees Theater.
