Burglary suspects captured after chase

BRYAN CO., GA (WTOC) -

Two would be burglars are behind bars after a chase through two counties. It started around 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in Bryan County.

Richmond Hill Police Chief Billy Reynolds says the two men kicked in a door at a house on Scarlett Ln. in the White Oak subdivision. A neighbor saw them and called police. When officers got there, the men took off.

Savannah-Chatham Metro officers and Georgia State Patrol troopers joined the chase, which eventually ended near Berwick off US 17 in Chatham Co.
