The Hilton Head Celebrity Golf Foundation handed out more than $120,000 to children's charities in the lowcountry Tuesday. All of the money was raised during their golf tournament on Labor Day weekend. Even though times are tough across the board, the foundation takes great pride in still being able to help where they can.
"We are here helping kids who don't know a good economy from a bad economy, they old know need. We are helping fulfill those needs and take care of those children who have no other alternatives," said Paul Smith, HHI Celebrity Golf Foundation chairman.
