Checkpoint set for Saturday night in Bluffton

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Unit will be conducting a checkpoint on Saturday night in Bluffton.

The checkpoint will run from 9-11 p.m. Dec. 22 in the eastbound lane of SC Hwy 46 at SC Hwy 170.

The checkpoint will be enforcing South Carolina laws and focusing on  violations related to driver's licenses, vehicle registrations and insurance.

Drivers going through the checkpoint will need to show produce their driver's license, registration, and proof of vehicle insurance.
