SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
A
CrimeStoppers reward has been increased to $8,500 for information on more
suspects involved in a fatal shooting that occurred in September.
Basheen
Hills, 19, was indicted Wednesday afternoon on murder and aggravated assault
charges. Police said that on Sept. 26, Hills shot and killed 24-year-old Gregory
Bivin II.
Bivin was
found dead in his 1995 Mustang in the 2300 block of Loraine Drive. According to
the indictment, Bivin was shot with his own gun.
Police
have ruled his death a homicide and are seeking information that will lead to
the identity of any other persons involved.
Savannah-Chatham
Metro Police Violent Crimes Detectives are asking for anyone who has
information on the shooting to step forward.
Bivin's
family and friends have donated $6,000 to the CrimeStoppers Reward Fund for this
case. The cash reward is available anonymously for information leading to an
arrest of individuals involved in Bivin's death.
