The Links presents AASU with scholarship award

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Members of the Savannah Chapter of The Links presented Armstrong Atlantic State University with a scholarship award of $1,000.

The Savannah Chapter of The Links strives to increase educational opportunities for students by providing financial support to deserving college students. The women's volunteer service organization has been around for 65 years. They are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.

The Savannah Chapter of The Links has worked with AASU for over 10 years.
