RINCON, GA (WTOC) -
Authorities responded to a bomb threat at a Walmart in Rincon Christmas Eve.
Effingham County Sheriff's Office spokesman David Ehsanipoor said the threat was called into the 911 center. Effingham County deputies and Rincon police were at the scene.
The threat was cleared just before 11pm Monday. According to Rincon Police Chief Phillip Scholl, they weren't taking any chances and used bomb dogs to check the store.
The store was evacuated.
