ALMA, GA (WTOC) -
Police in Alma are
asking for the public's help in finding an armed robbery suspect.
The robbery occurred
just after 10:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Alma Grocery store on 12th and Douglas
streets.
Officers
say the suspect entered the store waving around a black
semi-automatic-type pistol. The suspect
grabbed a patron at the counter, pointed the weapon at the store cashier and
demanded money. The cashier released an undetermined amount of cash to the
suspect, who then fled from the scene by foot.
Police said the suspect is
described as a slender black male. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask,
black hoodie, black pants and white gloves.
