LADY'S ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -
The
Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that
occurred Wednesday night at Dairy Queen in Lady's Island.
Deputies
were called just before 9 p.m. Wednesday to the Dairy Queen at 115 Sea Island
Parkway. Employees told deputies that the store had been robbed by two suspects.
The
employees said two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns went into the store
at about 8:45 p.m., according to the sheriff's office. Workers handed over cash from the register. Then both
suspects left the store. No one was injured and no customers were inside during
the incident.
The
suspects are described as black males who are about 6' tall and 180 lbs., according to the BCSO. One
was wearing a black hoodie and cargo pants. The other was wearing a blue hoodie
sweatshirt and cargo pants.
