BLOOMINGDALE, GA (WTOC) -
Two people have been arrested in connection with a long-term methamphetamine investigation by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office Drug Suppression Team.
Investigators got a tip that several people were making meth at a residence on Interstate Circle in Bloomingdale.
At about 11 a.m. Thursday, investigators located three meth labs at a residence belonging to Melissa Cone, 26, and George Daniel Driggers, 34, both of Bloomingdale, according to the sheriff's office.
Investigators seized three labs, meth and ingredients used to create more labs, according to the ECSO.
Driggers is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of pseudoephedrine, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and unlawful dumping of egregious materials.
Cone is charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
More arrests are expected. Driggers and Cone are being held in the Effingham County Jail.
