The Corner Perk Cafe in Bluffton and its owner, Josh Cooke, will be featured on NPR's 'All Things Considered' December 29th and 30th.
The Corner Perk Cafe was featured in January 2012 for the story of how one woman was continuing to "pay it forward" by paying for future customers' drinks during various visits.
As word of the woman's generosity spread, more than 100 people have returned the favor of paying it forward at The Corner Perk Cafe alone.
On Friday, December 20th, Cooke said that about $80 was left by other customers covering the costs of those who came in after them.
Visitors from as far away as Canada have come to the Bluffton store, having heard about the story both online and on the radio. Toll booth attendants from the Cross Island Parkway on Hilton Head Island have stopped in after hearing about the campaign from local commuters.
