First Tuesday City Hall tour moved to Second Tuesday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The First Tuesday Tour of City Hall series moves to the second Tuesday for January only.

The behind-the-scenes tour of historic City Hall will be held at noon on January 8th instead of the first Tuesday of the month with New Year's holiday.

The tours are free and open to the public, but reservation is required. The tour gives an overview of the history, architecture and art of one of Savannah's most important buildings. The tour covers two exhibts in Council chambers dedicated to the Nuclear Ship Savannah and the former Savannah Pharmacy located on MLK Boulevard. Participants of the tour will hear stories about some of the City's most fascinating characters and learn about their City government.
