BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

A Bluffton business very busy this holiday season promoting random acts of kindness.

The Corner Perk Café in Bluffton was featured on the National Public Radio broadcast, All Things Considered, one year ago when a woman paid it forward leaving 100 dollars to pay for coffee for the next two dozen or more customers. It was one of the most popular editions all year long and owner Josh Cooke was on NPR again last night and tonight talking about how people paid it forward following one anonymous woman's lead.

It's been a really neat year, we've had a number of people probably over a hundred people have paid it forward in some way. The amount has been over 2,000 dollars. Whether it is 10 or 15 people one day or a few people giving a hundred dollars other days, said Josh Cooke.

Cooke is hoping more people are inspired by the woman's generosity and they can top the 2,000 mark in 2013.
