SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Chatham Area Transit will have a temporary power shutdown to its main office on Saturday.

The electrical power is being turned off while contractors continue their construction work. The primary phone lines will not be available during that time.

The outage affects CAT's office at 900 E. Gwinnett St. But the office will be open for ticket sales from 8 a.m. to noon.

During the phone line outage, customers can call these numbers:
Paratransit Reservations – 912.210.7340
Where's My Teleride – 912.210.7328
Customer Service/Schedules – 912.210.7012

Customers are reminded that it may be difficult to get through since there is only one phone available for each service. They can also access schedules at CAT's website at www.catchacat.org.

The business will be back to normal operations on Jan. 7.
