Savannah-Chatham police are trying to find the answers to lots of questions after a bizarre overnight accident.

About 1:30am this morning, people living in a house in the 2100 block of East 43rd Street say they heard a huge crash. They looked out the window to see a pickup truck upside down in the front yard of their home.

Police arrived to find a man with his arm pinned under the overturned truck. Another man was lying on the other side. There was also a third man in the truck.

Savannah firefighters used large inflatable bags to raise the truck up so EMTs could get the trapped man's arm out. Then the two injured men were taken to Memorial Health.

Police say it appears the driver lost control of the truck, it hit a tree, then flipped over and came to rest upside down, amazingly missing the house.

They say none of the men were wearing seatbelts.
