Georgia Power sells Plant Riverside

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Georgia Power has sold the property Plant Riverside on the west end of River St.

They say the deal was signed on Dec. 31 but who bought it is still unknown.

The Metropolitan Planning Commission says the Kessler Collection Corporation was interested in the land but they did not know for sure if they are the buyers.

Kessler also owns the Mansion on Forsyth and the Bohemian on Bay St.

The old power building on Bay St. is still up for grabs.
