SCAD student will be on 'Letterman'

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A student who studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design who turned to music will be on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday night.

Jake Troth, a singer, songwriter and producer from Davidson, N.C., signed with Treetop Publishing LLC in October 2011. Troth's album "Big Boi's Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors" was released last week.

His music has been featured on "Mob Wives", "Jane by Design", "TeenWolf" and "Underemployed".

"Apple of My Eye," a collaboration with Mr. DJ and Big Boi of Outkast, hit stores Dec. 11, 2012.
