SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Metro police are on the scene of a 2-vehicle wreck on Jimmy Deloach Pkwy. 

Police say 2 SUVs collided with each other shortly after 7 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Jimmy Deloach Pkwy and Crossroads Pkwy in Savannah. 

At this time, Metro police are directing traffic in the area. The turn lane off of I-95 is blocked but not closed. Drivers can still use the exit but traffic is slow going and delays can be expected.

There is no word on injuries or what caused the 2 vehicles to collide at this time.

    A man accused of shooting of an Army captain in downtown Savannah in 2004 has received a guilty verdict from a jury.  A jury found Deon Jones guilty on of the felony murder of U.S. Army Captain Scott Corwin during a robbery near Monterey Square in 2004.
