The Presidential Search Committee and consulting agency of Greenwood/Asher and Associates, Inc. will be hosting a public forum on Jan. 18 to receive input from the community concerning characteristics that should be embodied in the next President of the College of Coastal Georgia.
The forum will be held in the Southeast Georgia Conference Center and the public is invited to comment from 8 p.m. to 8 :45 a.m. Students, staff and faculty will also be able to participate as the morning progresses.
The 12-member Presidential Search and Screen Committee was appointed by University System of Georgia Chancellor Hank Huckaby in November following Dr. Valerie A. Hepburn's plans to step down as President of the College at the end of May 2013. The committee includes representatives from the Alumni Association, the College Foundation, a former University System of Georgia regent and community leader, college faculty, staff and students.
