7 arrested in alcohol sales sting

GLYNN CO., GA (WTOC) -

Seven people were arrested on charges of selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover agent who was under the age of 21.

The Glynn/Brunswick Narcotics Enforcement Team with help from the Brunswick and Glynn County Police Departments conducted a three-day investigation over the weekend.

Jigesh Patel, 43; Dipak Patel, 47; Grace Clark, 62; Dhiren Patel, 34; Brijesh Patel, 33; Natisha Williams, 34; Sushila Dave, 53, were arrested according to the Glynn Brunswick Narcotics Enforcement Team.

The investigation is to ensure that licensed stores are in compliance with state and local laws on the distribution and sale of alcoholic beverages.
