On Monday, WTOC's Dawn Baker visited Notre Dame Academy to hang out with some outstanding young ladies. She got the chance to talk with 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders at the school. They talked about the importance of believing in themselves, always doing their best, setting goals, the danger of social media and bullying, and a whole lot more.
"Young ladies need to know they are strong, they are capable and they can do anything they set their minds to. Even if they meet resistance in the job market within education, they know they are capable of doing anything they set their minds to. All things are possible," said Sister Donna Banfield, Notre Dame Academy principal.
Dawn's message went hand in hand with what Girls on the Run teaches.
