SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Savannah Book Festival organizers made a big announcement Tuesday morning.
Former Vice President, Nobel Peace Prize recipient and best-selling author Al Gore is visiting Savannah next month.
Gore will speak at 10:15 a.m. Feb. 16 during the Savannah Book Festival. He will be talking about his latest book, The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change, which focuses on six critical drivers of global change.
The free event will take place at the Trinity United Methodist Church on Telfair Square, but seating is limited. Attendees will not be able to take pictures or record video.
Gore will sign all purchased copies of the book, The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change, with a limit of four per person. The book is be released by Random House on Jan. 29.
