Ft. Stewart to hold Winn phase 2 groundbreaking Thursday

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) -

The groundbreaking ceremony for the phase two addition to Fort Stewart's Winn Army Community Hospital will take place Thursday.

The phase two addition will consist of two simultaneous construction projects that include a new emergency room, pharmacy and dining area.

The groundbreaking for the phase one part of the expansion has already taken place and is expected to be completed by September 2013.

All phase two construction projects are scheduled to be complete in late 2016.
