SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The 34th annual Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. Parade takes place on Jan. 21. The Parade Committee is inviting
people to submit applications for this year's event.
Entries are limited to 325 units. Changes
to the 2013 applications can be picked up from the Martin Luther King, Jr.
Observance Day Committee office at 1206 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The committee recommends applications
pay attention to the deadline date and requirements needed for the application.
The application, entry fee and insurance
documents should also be returned to the office at 1206 Martin Luther King Jr.
Boulevard. All motorized and/or trailer vehicles must be insured to participate
in parade.
The parade lineup will be published at
least 10 days before the parade. For questions about parade applications, email
