Explorer Post 876 to hold Boston Butt fund-raiser Saturday

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

The Chatham County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post 876 is holding a Boston Butt sale Saturday to help out young teens interested in a career with law enforcement.

The sale will begin at 9 a.m. at various locations in Chatham County, including: Parker's on Hwy 21 and Minus Ave. in Garden City; Joe Parker Park at 234 U.S. Hwy 80 in Pooler; and D1 Sports Training parking lot at 5918 Ogeechee Rd.

CCSO Explorer Post 876 Advisors will start cooking all pre-orders on Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Chatham County Sheriff's Office Training Center and Firing Range, (Enter from Ogeechee Rd., ¼ mile past the McDonalds and Chatham Pkwy, on right.)

The Explorers are selling the Boston Butts for $20 each to raise money for an upcoming Winterfest competition in Gatlinburg, TN.
