SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The International
Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials and
Treasurers is in Savannah right now. The group held their
mid-winter meeting Sunday at the Mulberry Inn on Bay Street.
The group of
about 75 people gathered together to plan their annual conference which will be
held in Louisville, Kentucky. That event attracts hundreds of people from all
parts of the world.
"It's a
great event; we have members from all over the world," said Joanne Rajoppi,
President of IACREOT.
"This is an
international association of government officials, clerks, recorders, election
officials and treasurers. We get to network with each other, share information,
and also take education courses."
WTOC's Sonny Dixon was the
emcee of the event.
