ATLANTA (AP) - Forecasters say the weekend's mild weather is giving way to cooler temperatures across Georgia.
The weather service says high temperatures in the 70s will replaced by afternoon temperatures topping out around 60s in many areas.
Forecasters have issued a flood watch for northwest Georgia. They say a slow-moving cold front will bring widespread showers and periods of heavy rain.
The weather service says rainfall amounts of 2 or 3 inches will be common, and some areas could receive as much as 4 inches of rain by Wednesday morning.
