CCSO: murder suspect killed I-95 wreck

WOODBINE, GA (WTOC) -

A man wanted in connection on murder charges in Titusville, Fla., died after a crash on Sunday night on Interstate 95.

Michelle Renee Chappell, 41, was slain in Titusville, according to Camden County Sheriff's Office.

Christian Joseph Murphy, 21, died in the crash that occurred at 9:30 p.m. Sunday at mile marker 24 on I-95 northbound, according to the sheriff's office.

Sheriff's office deputies were watching for the vehicle after receiving a lookout earlier that night from the Titusville Police Dept., according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies spotted the vehicle going northbound as it passed mile marker 9 and began to follow it. The chase ended when the vehicle crashed in the median, according to the sheriff's office.

The 15 year old girl driving the car survived and is in custody.
