Patricia Collins
CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -
A Richmond Hill woman accused of
driving the wrong way on Interstate 95 and causing a fatal crash appeared at a
pretrial hearing on Monday.
Police said that Patricia Collins killed
a Bryan County sheriff's deputy who was driving home after his shift in a
head-on crash. She pleaded not guilty Monday in court.
Collins is charged with vehicular
homicide and driving under the influence in the traffic death of Deputy Sgt. Robert
Warren "Bobby" Crapse.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations
said Collins was intoxicated - way over the legal limit - when she struck and Crapse
cruiser on I-95.
