Train collides with tractor-trailer in Garden City

GARDEN CITY, GA (WTOC) -

Police are investigating a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a train that took place around 8:30 p.m. Monday on Louisville Rd. in Garden City.

Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer didn't stop and drove right into the path of the train. He is being treated at Memorial Health and is expected to be alright.

The road was closed for a short period of time while crews cleaned up some of the fuel that spilled.

There is no word yet on charges. The crash remains under investigation.
